Heating Oil: Tested, Efficient, and Safe

Lately, the consumer has been "bombarded" by messages about different ways of heating, such as electricity, air conditioners, fireplaces, stoves, and gas, with a lower cost of ownership and the same heating capacity. However, the "demonization" of the most prevalent mode of heating in our country, heating oil, is not based on factual information and documentation.

You need to ask, investigate, and learn about heating oil, in order to ensure a truly warm home. Before you decide, evaluate all information and data, and do not get carried away by promises and unfounded rumors.




 A. THE ADVANTAGES OF HEATING OIL

• Most proven and safe way of heating
• Heats space evenly
• Better performance
• Easy to use
• Does not require additional investments
• Requires little maintenance
• Availability and quality guaranteed
• Dozens of options for consumers
• Winter Fuel Allowance Program

B. DISADVANTAGES OF OTHER FORMS OF HEATING

• Significant initial investment for modifications and long payback (gas)
• Costs and prices are not guaranteed (gas)
• Prone to international circumstances (gas)
• Heavy maintenance (fireplaces, heat pumps)
• Environmentally hazardous (fireplaces, heat pumps)
• Uneven heating (fireplaces, heat pumps, air-conditioners)
• Questionable quality
• No long-term experience on the consequences
