India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Executives Visit Aegean

On February 25 an educational visit of 30 managerial Executives of India’s Oil and Natural gas Corporation (ONGC) took place at the Aegean headquarters in Piraeus.
ONGC ranks third worldwide in oil and natural gas extraction and production, and has a long history of 56 years. From a small company, ONGC has become a leader in exploration and production activities in India, as regards stocks and production, with 72% of the total volume of crude oil and 48% of the total production of natural gas. ONGC is an integrated company, having developed capabilities in exploration, drilling, production, refining, transport, and marketing.
ONGC chose Aegean in Greece for an educational visit of its high-ranking executives to Europe. During this visit, the ONGC executives were briefed about Aegean company activities. Professor Abhoy K. Ojha, an Indian University representative, expressed his thanks for the briefing and hospitality, and extended an invitation to the founder of Aegean, Dimitris Melissanidis, to visit India.
